Adidas Releases New Derrick Rose Rehab Video

The Bulls may be taking a cautious approach to Derrick Rose's recovery from that mangled knee he suffered a few months back. That isn't stopping Adidas fanning the flames for an early return.

In a textbook example of marketing synergy, Adidas released the first in a series of videos showing Rose's progress in rehabbing the knee injury. A press release announcing the series, which Adidas is calling a "documentary," states:

The documentary gives fans a behind-the-scenes, exclusive and authentic look at Derrick’s recovery. Never before has the humble superstar granted complete access to fans in all aspects of his life. From his vigorous workouts at Athletes Performance in Los Angeles, to the time he spends with his closest friends and family that keeps him grounded and motivated, fans will have intimate access to one of the greatest players in the world as he pushes through recovery to return to the court.

The first chapter shows Rose pushing himself in workouts to regain his strength and balance.
