If you've followed the recent rise in popularity of electronic dance music in the United States in the last few years, you're well aware of Daft Punk's role in that scene. And you may remember back in 2007 when the pyramid-like spaceship of this French House music duo descended on Grant Park and rocked the house that Jack built.
That set was so successful in turning crowds in Chicago and Paris into a throbbing mass of a dance party that Daft Punk released a live album from that Paris concert, Alive! 2007. And so we bring you this video, which is far longer than our typical afternoon diversion, of the Paris concert, edited together from 200 of the best crowd videos of that evening, and synced with the live album. Enjoy!
