Monday Afternoon Diversion: After The Storm
By Kevin Robinson in Arts & Entertainment on Aug 20, 2012 8:00PM
This month has seen some precipitation in the area, bringing at least a modicum of relief to a drought the region hasn't seen the likes of in over 50 years. For those of here in Chicago, August has served as a reminder not only of how fantastically enjoyable Midwestern weather can be, but also how unpredictable the Great Lakes climate can be. In this video from 2010 we're treated to a long view of lightning, and a gorgeous double rainbow forming over our city's skyline.
