2012_8_20_Lilie'sQ.jpg The Goose Island Chef Collaboration series just keeps getting better and better. We got tipsy on a bunch of them at the Green City Market Chef's Barbeque, but there is a new kid on the block - Chef Charlie McKenna's Inferno IPA. The beer, brewed with Goose Island brewmaster Jared Rouben, is a double IPA infused with inferno chili peppers for a spicy kick. It's made to go with Lillie's Q's BBQ, and you can get the first taste of it tomorrow night.

Chef McKenna is teaming up with some of Chicago's best chefs for a charity fundraiser. Chefs Stephanie Izard (Girl and the Goat), Matthias Merges (Yusho), Chris Pandel (Balena), Mike and Patrick Sheerin (Trenchermen), Greg Biggers (Cafe des Architectes) and Chris Curren (Stout) will be creating passed appetizers for the event. Each guest will get two servings of the new beer, as well as a custom cocktail made with the Lillie’s Q Henry McKenna 10-Year-Aged Single Barrel Bourbon. There are only 100 tickets (and many of them are sold) so if you're interested, reserve your spot now.

The event will benefit the The Katherine McKenna Brothers Scholarship Fund. The fund, named for Chef McKenna's aunt, gives money to students who Katherine's alma mater, Brenau University. Tickets are $100. If you're a Lillie's Q fan (and why wouldn't you be) you'll also get a bracelet good for 10% off all future dining for the lifetime of the restaurant. If you think $100 is steep, do the math on that and it suddenly looks a lot better.

The event starts at 7 p.m.

Lillie's Q is located at 1856 W North Ave.
