See Food: Diner En Blanc Chicago At The Art Institute

We didn't think it was possible to class up an art museum - they are pretty posh places already. But Diner en Blanc Chicago managed to kick it up a notch this past Friday when they hosted the first installment of their fancypants pop up dinner in the garden of the Art Institute.
This weekend saw two different white dinners descend upon Chicago. Diner en Blanc Chicago was the first to happen (though the second to be announced) and the only one to allow wine and serve food by Chef Tony Mantuano. For the whole backstory, read our interview with one of the directors of the event.
The event sold out, and 500 people and one white dog named Loki (the subject of the most adorable photograph ever) danced and partied until midnight. From the pictures, it looks like they had a fun, beautiful and, most importantly, delicious evening.
