Closing arguments are expected in the Drew Peterson trial Tuesday. On Friday Judge Edward Burmila rejected a final motion to dismiss the trial from Peterson's defense team.

The defense team also revealed part of what their closing arguments would center on: discrediting hearsay statements from two witnesses in which Peterson's missing fourth wife Stacy tied her husband to the death of Kathleen Savio. The most recent statement was made by Savio's divorce attorney Harry Smith, who was shockingly called to testify by Peterson defense attorney Joel Brodsky.

Both prosecutors and defense expressed their pleasure that the trial would soon go to the matching outfit jury.
