Blago's Advice To Fellow Inmate's Son: "Don't Get Into Politics"

Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich has entered the "Caged Wisdom" phase of his prison sentence. Fox News Chicago spoke with the family of a suburban man who's serving time in the Federal Correction Center in Englewood for robbing a Gurnee bank in 2002. Blagojevich wrote the man's son a note informing the boy of his father's status, but he also couldn't help being Blago in the process.

"Your dad is a good guy. He is manning up to the mistakes he's made. He is well liked here and has many friends. Happy birthday, good luck in school and whatever you do -- stay out of politics," signed Rod Blagojevich.

Blagojevich then determined the reason White Power Bill is so angry is because of self-loathing.

While we don't know if Blagojevich offered the kid career advice for careers as a furniture salesman or plastics. His former attorney, Sam Adam Jr., told Fox News Chicago the letter proves, even behind bars, that Blagojevich is a mentor.

"There's no doubt in my mind, that's a note from Rod. This is just another example in my opinion of the kind of man Rod is, no matter what anybody's trials and tribulations are, he wanted to let the family, let that son know that whatever his father had done, he's still a decent human being," says Adam.

Of course the "stay out of politics" farewell has nothing to do with Blagojevich's ego.
