Do This: Go Behind The Scenes at Solemn Oath Brewery

If you’ve been on one brewery tour, you probably feel like you’ve been on them all. This Sunday, Solemn Oath is asking you to join them in what will not be your typical brewery tour. In this tour, you get to be a part of the brewing process.

On Sunday Sept. 23, Solemn Oath Brewing in Naperville will open their doors for “Oath Day,” a series of behind-the-scenes tours where guests will formulate and create a keg-sized treatment of the Solemn Oath saison-style beer, Whisper Kisses, using herbs, spices, fruit, and other ingredients. The following week, each group’s version of the beer will be put on draft in the tap room, alongside the original Whisper Kisses, to be available for purchase.

Only 30 guests are allowed on each tour, with tours beginning at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. Oath Day tickets are available at three levels: $25, $35, and $50. All tickets include a behind-the-scenes experience, two beers from the taproom, and a limited-edition Solemn Oath pint glass. The $35 ticket also includes a Solemn Oath hat. The $50 ticket has two options: the first also includes a hat and a Solemn Oath t-shirt,, and the second also includes a hat and a limited-edition, signed and numbered, high-quality print of an iconic photograph of Solemn Oath Brewery taken by Michael Kiser of Good Beer Hunting.

As the Solemn Oath tap room does not serve food, the Fire It Up Truck will also be on site to supply guests with gourmet tacos and sweets.
