It's midweek and starting today northeast winds will heavily influence the weather, according to Skilling Central. The mercury will climb to a respectable 69 degrees, which is great for those of you inland. It just won't feel that way the closer you are to the lake. Those northeast winds are expected to run the entire length of the lakeshore at an 8-18 MPH clip. Runners and cyclists along the lakefront path: wear arm and leg warmers if you're going to ignore the rip current statement in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday. We write from experience here.
