Do you like booze and science? Wel get your tickets now for the Illinois Science Council's "Science of a Cocktail Party." The ISC is a nonprofit that engages and entertains adults on science and technology. And this event has booze.

The party promises "beautiful people and smart people and interesting people (often the same people)" along with cocktails, food and science. ISC says this is "scientifically proven as the best way to spend a Saturday night."

Buy your tickets by Sunday, Sept. 30 to get the special "early bird" price.

The Illinois Science Council's "Science of a Cocktail Party is Saturday, Nov. 10 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at DIRTT (*Doing It Right This Time) Environmental Solutions Green Learning Center, 325 N. Wells Street, Suite 1000. Tickets are $60 before Sunday, Sept. 30.
