Visit Chicago-Area Museums For Free Today

Chicago has lots of amazing museums, but many can cost nearly $20 just to get in. If you're looking for a way to spend the day, head on over to the Smithsonian's website, where you'll be able to sign up for two free passes to more than 30 Illinois museums.

You can go to the Adler Planetarium or the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, but this could also be a good chance to check out museums you've never been to before. The list includes the brand-new National Hellenic Museum, the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, and the Glessner House Museum.
