A duo of home design events makes this the ideal weekend to outfit your nest before hibernation season sets in.

Design Harvest

This Saturday and Sunday, Design Harvest returns for the third year to Grand Avenue between Damen and Wood Street. The West Town street fest celebrates contemporary design and vintage finds, assembling local accessory makers, collectors, and retailers from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy live music programming by The Hideout or hop onto a hay ride.

Free admission, donations are accepted.

Randolph Street Market

There’s a treasure for everyone to be found among the 200 vendors, featuring the Chicago Antique Market and Indie Designer Market. Randolph Street Market runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and is located in and around Journeyman Plumbers Hall (1340 W. Washington Blvd.).

Admission is $8 in advance or $10 at the gate. Student admission is $5 with ID. Free admission for children 12 and under.
