Eat At These Restaurants To Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness Month starts today, and so does the In Good Taste campaign.

More than 120 Chicago eateries are donating proceeds from each meal in October to the Lynn Sage Foundation, a Chicago organization raising money for cancer research. This is the fifth year for the In Good Taste: Breast Cancer Research Initiative. Some places are also offering special dishes or drinks all month long.

The donations are small (as little as $1 per plate), so feel free to cough up a few more bucks. The money goes to the Lynn Sage Scholars Program at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, a competitive academic program for cellular, molecular and genetic research.

Check the Sage Foundation website for a full list of participating establishments, from Adobo to Zocalo. There's also a handy-dandy OpenTable reservation center to help you plan your meal.
