Crews installed a new antenna on top of the Willis Sears Tower, and thanks to an upcoming documentary, there is video. This footage was taken by cameras on the workers' helmets for the documentary Cowboys Of The Sky about 74-year-old Local 1 ironworker John Rukavina.

In July crews lifted the 30-year-old ABC7 analog antenna from the top of the Sears Tower, 1,700 feet in the air. Crews used a helicopter and a hook to loosen the 4,000-pound antenna, then lifted it and slowly lowered it into a truck on the ground. Needless to say, it was a delicate and dangerous operation.

Here is the reverse operation, equally perilous, but this isn't Rukavina's first high-rise rodeo. Watch videos below and a trailer for Cowboys Of The Sky.
