Last Minute Plans: Bangers & Lace County Fair

Wicker park favorite Bangers & Lace is celebrating their 2 year anniversary today with a county fair. $30 gets you 25 tickets towards food, beverages, and games. Chef Adam Wendt will be cooking up local and exotic meats including house-made sausages, pheasant, smoked hog, and pulled pork. Barrel-aged Templeton Rye will be featured in a punch as well as in gelato served with spiced pumpkin funnel cake. Other sweet treats include Fernet Branca cotton candy and freshly made "affy tapple" donuts on a stick. Games include bobbing for apples, life-sized Jenga, high striker, and a dunk tank. They'll be spinning old school rock tunes on vinyl and the fun lasts from 1-8 p.m. today.

Bangers & Lace is located at 1670 W. Division in Wicker Park. Entry to the B&L County Fair is $30 for 25 tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased at the Ticketbooth: 4 for $5, 10 for $12, 25 for $30.
