Celebrate the fall harvest without leaving the city limits at Lincoln Park Zoo’s Harvest Days. The annual free festival runs Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Farm-in-the-Zoo (2001 North Clark Street).

Explore the pumpkin patch and decorate your finds while enjoying music, fall food, and Chicago’s foliage. Kids can get down on the farm with cow-milking and other animal activities at the petting zoo.

No one wants to risk navigating country roads via Apple’s iOS6 maps, so grab your favorite sweater and enjoy autumn in Lincoln Park before another Chicago winter strikes.

In the event of rain, all activities except for the pumpkin patch will be moved indoor.
