Edible Nerdiness: (Almost) Everything You Need To Know About Knives

We're suckers for great infographics, especially when they are about food and/or actually teach us something, rather than just displaying what we already know in a cute way. S.B.Lattin Design has created this wonderful primer that includes so much knife-related information, we want to print it up and laminate our cutting board with it. Oh, wait, that would be bad for our knife.
It includes the parts of knives, the right knife for each job, how to do a perfect restaurant dice (leave the root end on!), different types of cuts and how to keep your cutting board from skidding. Parents, show it to your children. Chefs, give it to your externs. Hopefully, they already know all of this stuff, but you never know.
The only thing missing? Sharpening! Remember to sharpen your knives, everyone, or you will lose a finger and all of these tips will be less amusing. Maybe that'll be their next infographic.
