Win Tickets To The Green City Market Halloween Harvest Ball

2012_10_18_GCMLogo.png The Green City Market Chefs BBQ isn't the only great event that the market throws each year. The Green City Market Junior Board is hosting the Halloween Harvest Ball on Oct. 28, and it's going to be amazing. Celebrity chefs, beer, cocktails, costumes, an amazing auction (you can win tickets to the opening party at Little Goat!); it's all coming up. And you can win two tickets right here.

We hate to be all boring and stuff, but if you're a supporter of the market (or a lover of great food) you should really buy tickets. They cost $75, the cash goes to a great cause, and you'll definitely get your money's worth. What do you get for it? A whole passel of chefs will be cooking, including John Manion (La Sirena Clandestina), Eric Mansavage, (Farmhouse), Matthias Merges (Yusho), Mike and Pat Sheerin (Trenchermen), Mark Steuer (Carriage House and The Bedford), Paul Virant (Perennial Virant and Vie) and more. Goose Island will be providing all the great craft beer you can stand, Jason Wagner (of Nellcote and RM) will be curating the wine pairings and Jordan Johnston of Frontera Grill will be creating the cocktails.

Oh, and that auction? It's online, so you don't need to go to check it out. It's a doozy - you can't get this stuff anywhere else. Tickets to the opening party for little goat, dinner at Rick Bayless's house, a canning class with Paul Virant, a day of brewing at Goose Island, and perhaps the most coveted gem of all, guaranteed dinner for four at Schwa without yelling or calling 12 times.

The event will be held at the Ravenswood Event Center (4011 N. Ravenswood Ave.) from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28. If you want to win tickets, enter your information below - we'll be doing a drawing for a pair of tickets on Monday evening. Good luck!

Update: Because of yesterday's outage, we're keeping the drawing open till tonight!
