Are you one of the many people who waits until the last-minute to come up with a Halloween costume design, only to string a series of single serving cereal boxes together, buy a rubber knife, splatter some fake blood on a shirt you haven't worn in years and go to parties as a "cereal killer?" Then consider heading to the Goodman Theatre today, where the popular theater company is hosting its first public costume sale in five years.

Doors are already open and some of the costumes include the fish from Sarah Ruhl’s Passion Play, the horse head from Turn of the Century, African masks from Animal Crackers, as well as pieces from Candide, Camino Real, and other plays. Some of these pieces are listed for as low as a dollar and the Goodman will accept cash or credit.

The sale runs through 2 p.m., so get cracking.

The Goodman Theatre is located at 170 N. Dearborn St.
