2012_10_DiGilio_HalloweenUnderground.jpg Halloween Saturday is coming and the dead are about to walk the earth. Where is the safest place to be during an undead plague? Why in an underground bunker, of course, with delicious drinks and tasty treats to keep you well occupied. When this year's Dia de los Muertos stirs up spooky skeletons, don't miss the chance to party like its the zombie apocalypse at Chicago's most upscale bunker, The Underground.

This Saturday, Oct. 27, you can galavant among the ghouls at The Underground's Dia de Los Muertos celebration. For $20 a head, you and your corpses, er...companions, can cavort with specialty drinks and appetizers chosen just for the occasion. Don't miss out on the signature guacamole, chipotle chicken tacos, and cinnamon churros! There will be costumes, coffins, and creeptastic canoodling for all. Being undead never felt or tasted so good!

Doors will open at 10 p.m. and festivities will run until 4 a.m. (well beyond the witching hour!).

The Underground is located at 56 W. Illinois St. in River North.
