Hall of Fame White Sox and Red Sox catcher Carlton Fisk was arrested and charged with DUI Monday after New Lenox police said they found an open vodka bottle in his Ford F-150 pickup truck. Now athletes and former athletes getting arrested for DUI isn't uncommon. What makes Fisk's arrest stand out is where his truck was found.

Fisk was passed out in his truck in the middle of a cornfield. Police called paramedics to the scene, who awakened Fisk and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he refused a blood alcohol test.

Fisk was released after he posted bond, cited and is due to appear in Will County Courthouse Nov. 29. The arrest comes a day after the 37th anniversary of his famous home run in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series.
