These animals at the Brookfield Zoo got some Halloween treats — pumpkins. As you can tell, the results were adorable. That hungry, hungry hippo Obessa was born to be a star, and that rhinoceros Jimma just wants to demolish that thing stuck on his horn.
Check out all of the African lions, sloth bears, meerkats, red river hogs, pygmy hippos, and rhinos. Some of the pumpkins were carved out and filled with other goodies such as grain, meal worms, meat, raisins, and grapes.
See these and other animals eat treats in person until the end of the month and at this weekend's Boo! at the Zoo celebration on October 27 and 28.
