Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler was named the least liked quarterback in the NFL, according to Forbes rankings. That means a higher percentage of people like Michael Vick (23 percent) than like Jay Cutler (21 percent). On the bright side, the Bears' Brian Urlacher ranks as the eighth most liked player in the NFL.
Forbes cited a survey by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research in which players' "appeal numbers were scored based on the percentage of those whose response was to 'like' the player or 'like him a lot.'"
In the end, Cutler is the second least liked player in the league. The only player poll participants liked less was the Lions DE Ndamukong Suh, who has a reputation for being a dirty player.
The NFL's most liked player is Pittsburgh Steelers Safety Troy Polamalu, the religious family man with wild hair making wild plays. The most liked quarterback ranks second behind Polamalu in likability — New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees. The Packers have three players in the top ten: Charles Woodson (3), Aaron Rodgers (5) and Donald Driver (9). Other notables at the top are Broncos QB Peyton Manning in 4th, Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski in 6th, Redskins QB Robert Griffin III in 7th and the Lions QB Matt Stafford comes in at number 10.
Cutler isn't the only QB at the bottom. People feel very strongly about their quarterbacks. Vick is there, too, along with Raiders Matt Leinart, Cowboys Kyle Orton, Cowboys Tony Romo, Jets Mark Sanchez and Chiefs Brady Quinn.
