Ada Street has been one of the best restaurant openings of the year, both for the food and for the beauty of its interior—if we could get away with sitting in Ada Street for an entire evening, we would.

Now we, and you, have a reason. Ada Street has teamed up with Facets Multimedia to present a three-course dinner and movie combo Nov. 5 and Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. Filmmaker Tom Palazzolo will present five of his comedic documentaries on the 5th and be on hand to answer questions. Palazzolo studied at the Art Institute and his films cast an intense eye on the curious side of Chicago life.

On Nov. 12, Facets Director and NPR contributor Milos Stehlik will discuss the documentary Maxwell Street Blues, a look at the legendary open air market and its impact on Chicago. Each screening is accompanied with a five-course seasonal dinner that includes roasted Nichols Farm Beets, steak tartare, Skuna Bay Salmon, and chocolate with Tuscan olive oil and sea salt.

The best aspect of these dinners is the price. At only $50 per person (including three drinks), all the proceeds from these dinners benefits Facets. To RSVP, email here.

Ada Street is located at 1664 N. Ada St.
