We've been enjoying the chilly weather. The wind gusts? Not so much. Those winds are gusting up to 50-60 mph closer to the lake and are the main reason we have a lakeshore flood warning in effect from 1 a.m. Tuesday until 4 p.m. Wednesday. That's the result of Hurricane Sandy moving inland and breaking up. The National Weather Service says we could see waves of anywhere from 18-23 feet across the Lake Michigan shoreline. As for today's forecast we have more chilly air, bright cloudy skies and a high near 50.
