J. Parker Debuts New Menu For Fall/Winter

By Melissa Wiley in Food on Oct 30, 2012 6:00PM

The J. Parker is more than just a pretty view. It's the statuesque beauty who's brainy enough to do long division in her head. So come rain, snow, or high hurricane winds, Paul Virant's impossibly elegant 13th-floor kitchen is here to serve, even if you can't dine outdoors. And it's rolling out an even more substantial menu to help sustain us through plummeting temps, including a whole bevy of shareable entrees guaranteed to warm you from the inside out.

We entered the J. Parker with a hearty appetite. Effete servings of fruits and vegetables topped with diaphanous dollops of crème fraîche simply weren't going to cut it. Turns out there were plenty of those to delight the daintier palate. But there were also hamburgers and scallops and farm rabbit rillette, more than enough, we're betting, to keep a cerebral glamor girl in heels going well into the wee hours, even in winter.

Dish descriptions are in the photo captions - check them all out!

The J. Parker is located at 1816 North Clark Street.
