By now we’ve all seen photos of the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The American Red Cross has been on the task of assisting those affected by the East coast frankenstorm. Aside from giving blood (you can see where local blood drives will be held here), your cash can go a long way. Here are a few opportunities to make a donation to the American Red Cross in Chicago restaurants.

Fish Bar, 2956 North Sheffield Avenue

DMK, 2954 N Sheffield Ave

Ada St., 1664 N Ada St

All of the above restaurants will donate 20% of all beverage purchases between today and Friday to the American Red Cross, in a promotion they have named Drink Them Dry! If the warm and fuzzy feeling you get from doing good (and drinking cocktails!) isn’t enough, they also will raffle off a $250 gift card to particpants, valid for any of the three restaurants, with the drawing on Monday November 5.

Wormhole Coffee, 1462 North Milwaukee Avenue

For Wednesday, October 31 only, Wormhole Coffee will match any tips given to baristas and donate the total to the American Red Cross. You have until 11 p.m. tonight to get your caffeine kick with a side of philanthropy.

Market House On The Square, 655 Forest Avenue, Lake Forest, IL

On Monday November 5, Market House On The Square, with it’s American comfort food menu, will donate all proceeds from the evening to the American Red Cross. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling (847) 234-8800.
