Nashville rockabilly sweethearts Those Darlins are a little bit country, a lot rock n' roll and all sassy. The sweet and sour trio performs at Schubas tonight.
Those Darlins marry serious rock sound with whimsical lyrics. Their 2009 self-titled album has a song about being drunk and eating chicken called "The Whole Damn Thing." Their 2011 album Screws Get Loose steered darker and heavier adding in elements of surf rock, while still keeping the whimsy with tunes like "Fatty Needs a Fix."

Those Darlins and Heavy Cream perform at Schubas, 3159 N. Southport, on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 9 p.m. Tickets are $12.
