Dan And Anthony Ponce Show Their Musical Sides

WGN-TV reporter/Anchor Dan Ponce and his brother, NBC 5's Anthony Ponce, are accomplished musicians in addition to skilled reporters—Dan Ponce was a founding member of the a cappella group Straight No Chaser.

The Ponces performed a parody of Billy Joel's "Piano Man" at last Friday's Newsapalooza 3 at the Park West. Proceeds from the event, where local media notables showed off their musical skills, went to Clearbrook, the state's largest provider of "services, programs and support for children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other intellectual/developmental disabilities."
