Mr. Mayor Goes To Washington

Mayor Rahm Emanuel traveled to Washington today for a couple of meetings. A spokesperson for the mayor's office told NBC Chicago, "The Mayor is meeting with government officials to discuss a variety of issues facing Chicago." Here he is in the Oval Office with President Barack Obama. According to Lynn Sweet, Emanuel also had meetings with Vice President Joe Biden, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and Energy Secretary Steven Chu.
