Happy Friday. As you tackle the leftovers, shopping (online, like we are), stomping a mudhole into your Netflix Instant queues and not killing the more annoying members of your family, put on a sweater. Today's forecast calls for a blast of polar air—remember what that felt like?—that will have temperatures plummeting 30 degrees colder than Thursday. Skilling Central predicts temps will be around freezing for much of the afternoon, and will feel colder thanks to gusty northwest winds. Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to put our turkey stock on the back porch to cool so we can separate the fat.
