We're sure there are some dedicated Big Star fans out there who would go right on eating tacos outside in the snow, ice and sleet. Luckily, Big Star won't let its customers get frostbitten fingers while stuffing their faces; instead, you can buy a local, sustainable Christmas tree from their lot.

Big Star has teamed up with City Tree Delivery for the second year. Don't want to lug a Christmas tree up to your third floor walkup? Tired of seeing the tree sit around the living room until February? You're in luck. City Tree Delivery doesn't just sell trees, they deliver them, set them up and pick them up to be recycled. The trees are local and the company offsets its entire carbon footprint, so you don't have to feel bad about the delivery. Even better, 1 percent of the company's revenue goes to green charities, and they plant one tree for every tree they sell.

The lot is open until Sunday, Dec. 23, every day of the week except Wednesdays. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Big Star is located at 1531 N. Damen.
