Let's look at the glass half full here, shall we? Yesterday we set a record high temp for the day when the mercury reached 70 degrees at O'Hare. Coupled with the humidity it felt more like an early June day than December. Today is going to be slightly chillier, but still above average for this time of year. Skilling Central is predicting a high reading of 57; the average for this time of year is 39. We may even see some sun today. Gusty winds from the northwest will keep the temperature readings falling back to something resembling normal as we reach midweek, so stow the shorts and hang your holiday lights.
