Reality Show About Cheeseheads In The Works

Producers were in Green Bay this weekend recruiting for a new reality series based on Packers fans. According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, production company Good Clean Fun has not said how many people they'll be casting, but they plan to film the pilot before the end of the year. The company is responsible for Style Network's Tia and Tamera and MTV’s Run’s House.
About 80 people showed up to the casting call at a Green Bay bar to show off their green and gold. Casting associate Kjerstin Johnson told the Press-Gazette that the fans they're looking for are "the loudest, most energetic and passionate with the best traditions."
What about drunk?
“Wisconsin in general has great people and it’s an area that hasn’t been shown to all of America yet on television,” Johnson told the Press-Gazette. “We find it fascinating, and think the personalities are great, and want to catalog it a bit.”
Check out the Press-Gazette's gallery of photos from the casting call. It proves just about every stereotype you assume about Cheeseheads. There is no name for the series yet, but we have a couple of suggestions...
- So You Think You Can Lambeau Leap
- Dancing With The Bart Starr
- Favre Knows Best
- Mister Rodgers' Neighborhood
- Green Bay Hair featuring Clay Matthews
- The Amazing Face Paint
- A Shot At Love With Jordy Nelson
- Here Comes B.J. Raji
**A previous version of this story linked the series to the Style Network. The network has no plan for a Packers reality series. Chicagoist regrets the error.**
