The Hood Internet with Gus Fring (O.K., Giancarlo Esposito) at Irving Plaza. Seriously.

Wow, Chicago groups sure are in the giving mood this holiday season! Yesterday Kids These Days offered up their latest album as a free download, and today The Hood Internet follows suit. The duo's first album of all original material, FEAT, was well liked around these parts when it was released a few months ago. You knew it was only a matter of time before guys known for mash-ups and remixes for other artists got remixed themselves. Sure enough, a bunch of other musicians have banded together to give FEAT the remix treatment, and the results of that tinkering was released today. And you can have the whole thing for free!

We're digging the remixes, and with the tracks that are jamming through our headphones we're able to pretend we're on a sunny beach instead of in a stuffy office, just waiting for the holidays.

You can download or stream individual tracks, or grab the whole album below.
