Joakim Noah Puts Away The Guns

Finger guns after making an outside shot have been a part of Joakim Noah's on-court celebrations since his college days at Florida. The tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. last week has Noah reconsidering that part of his ritual.

Noah said he's ending the finger guns celebration as a direct response to the Sandy Hook shooting and has voiced his favoring gun control on his Twitter account. If he can channel that energy into his vastly improved offensive game, we're all for it.

We're gonna miss the celebrations.

But it's nice to know we can wear Noah and his finger guns thanks to the folks at Strange Cargo, who have immortalized the celebration in a t-shirt.
