Another jailbreak? Well, this one isn't nearly as mysterious or death-defying as the escape from the high-rise Metropolitan Correctional Center. These guys just walked out the door.

Several horses wandered into an alley after escaping from the Noble Horse Stable in Old Town this morning around 9 a.m.

The Tribune writes:

Preliminary reports said one of the gates to the stable was opened and the horses wandered out to an alley, [Police News Affairs Officer Jose] Estrada said.

Police blocked the alley so the horses were trapped. An employee came out and opened additional gates, and the horses ran back in, Estrada said.

We're glad that ended peacefully. When we heard of wandering beasts in Old Town, we thought it might just be Saturday night outside of Benchmark.
