Friday Afternoon Diversion: 'Dance All Night' With Free Energy

I know I just published my favorite albums of 2012 list yesterday, but I'm already looking forward to 2013. And since Free Energy's new one, out mid-January, has been on constant repeat for the last week and I haven't grown tired of a single song, it's already in the running for a firm spot on next year's list. The band just released a new video from for the album track "Dance All Night" and while I shudder at using the term "retro" with something associated with the '90s, the treatment is deliciously retro. In related news Jennifer Love-Hewitt is still my dream girl.

Free Energy plays Lincoln Hall on January 18 as part of the Tomorrow Never Knows Festival. Their new album, Love Sign, is out January 15.
