2012_12_30_sketch.png Start the New Year off on a hilarious note by snagging tickets to the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, which is the largest sketch festival in the world. There are 169 shows taking place over eight days (selected dates January 3-13), so you'll have to pick and choose which ones to see. The fest is in its 12th year and features local, national and international sketch comedy groups.

Tickets are $14 or $15 per show, or you can get a pass for $150 which lets you into every show of the festival. Check out the full line-up here and read blurbs of each of the shows here. For the indecisive, Sketch Fest has put together a guide for figuring the whole thing out.
