Today's Weather: Crash Landing

Welcome to 20123, everyone and here's hoping your morning thus far is free from any hangover remedies. Here's an interesting note about the weather: Monday's high of 33 degrees marked the 310th consecutive day where we had an above freezing high temperature in Chicago. But things dropped below freezing with a quickness last night, as those of you who went out to ring in the new year discovered, and today we kick off 2013 with a damn good chance of not crossing 20 degrees for a high. We could also see snow before the sun makes its presence known later in the day. A few more days like this would make a fine course correction and it frees up your refrigerator as you can chill your beer on the back porch. Now settle in for a day of college football.
