Today's Weather: Unbend

Happy Friday, everyone. We're due for milder weather today. Of course, that depends on how one defines "mild." The mercury is expected to pass the freezing point before peaking north of 35 degrees and the catalyst for that is gusty winds from the southwest. Even at this time of the year, 30 mph gusts from the southwest can put a chill in one's bones. The silver lining here is today kicks off a warming trend that will have us looking at high temps in the low- to mid-40s by the midpoint of next week. So far Winter 2013 is looking a lot like Winter 2012.
