If Sunday was supposed to be the coldest day of the week, we'll take it. Today kicks off a week of weather better associated with mid-March. We're looking at highs near 40 across the area, winds from the southwest gusting to 30 mph by late afternoon, plenty of sunshine and even milder overnight temperatures as we head into what is beginning to shape up as a second dibs-free winter. Even more shocking: We compared the extended forecasts for Skilling Central and Accuweather to see how the rest of the week will develop. The normally conservative Accuweather is looking at a high near 50 Saturday. Both forecasts have plenty of clouds and precipitation in the cards.
