The National Museum of Mexican Art celebrated their silver anniversary this year and has added a number of major works to their permanent collection as part of a campaign to commemorate 25 years. The gifts include works from distinguished and emerging artists as well as a selection of significant Pre-Cuauhtémoc acquistions from the Louis and Annette Kaufman Trust. See the new additions to their collection this Thursday with the opening reception for Signature Works.

The opening reception for Signature Works is January 17 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the National Museum of Mexican Art, located at 1852 W. 19th Street in Pilsen. The exhibit runs through April 7 and the museum is open from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday and closed on Mondays.
