Nigel Godrich is most famous as the longtime musical extension and producer for Radiohead. But that's not all Godrich does. He's also got his own band Ultraísta, and they're about to embark on a short tour with Chicago as one of their stops. With it's glitchy production and and ethereal vocals that wisp through and punctuate at unexpected rhythmic passes, Ultraísta's music helps identify just how much of an influence Godrich's musical sensibilities permeate the other, more famous, act he works with. When Godrich is firmly at the helm of his own band, paranoia melts away and is replaced by an ethereal peace that invites you to sink into its sound.

Prefuse 73 is on the road with Ultraísta, and have taken their tourmates' song "You're Out" and strectehd it out into into an even more hypnotic variation than the original mix. They've shared it with us ahead of their date at Lincoln Hall on January 25, so stream it below and enjoy.
