Seven Chicago Bars Make Draft Mag's Best Beer Bars In America List

Chicago is well-represented on Draft Magazine's list of the 100 Best Beer Bars in America. Sheffield's, Hopleaf, Map Room, Local Option and Bangers & Lace remain on the list, joined by new additions Fountainhead and Old Town Pour House. Off the top of our head we could add another dozen or so worthy of inclusion. But this is Draft mag's list and it has to play to a wide audience; still, these are strong entrants.
It's been a good week so far for "best bars" lists. Chicago magazine lists its top 100 bars in Chicago in its February 2013 issue and even put together a handy map of where they're located. Where we have disagreement with Chicago mag is in their list of top 10 dive bars. Again, there are some nice additions, but six of these wouldn't make the discussion for our list of the best dive bars in the city.
