Pencil This In: Chicago Zine Fest Bingo Benefit 2013

Play Bingo at 826CHI on Friday to raise money for Chicago Zine Fest in March. Bonus: It's a BYOB event.

It's $5 for one card, with additional cards available for purchase. Zinemaker Jim Joyce is this year's special guest bingo caller.

Prizes are available from Handlebar, Wonder Wheel, Kozy Prery, Wormhole, La Familia Green, Rar Rar Press, Quimby's Bookstore, Intelligentsia, Threadless, Second City and more.

Chicago Zine Fest is an independent event for small press and independent publishers to showcase their work. The goal is to make DIY zine-making accessible, to highlight the talents of self-published artists, and to give independent artists a chance to interact and swap skills.

(The Bingo Benefit is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18 at 826CHI, 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave.)
