Whiskey-Infused Lotion & Vodka Light Flashes: "Parks and Rec" Pokes Fun At Aviary

In Thursday's episode of Parks and Recreation, the characters visit Eagleton's hot new bar, Essence, which specializes in "molecular mixology."

"May I go ahead and chisel your aromasphere?" the bartender asks Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) after setting his Nimbus Martini in front of him.

"This is the wrong way to consume alcohol." says Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), who is horrified about the way his Scotch is served.

"Hold out your hands," the bartender tells Ron.
"What's happening?" Ron asks.
"This is a play on Scotch. It's a whiskey-infused lotion!" Tom says.

Sound familiar? While the Aviary isn't quite making lotion cocktails—or vodka in flashes of light—yet, Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas hopped on Twitter to comment.
