Dollop Recovers From Fire, Opening Tomorrow

When last we checked in with Dollop they were, shall we say, a bit toasted. A small fire broke out the morning before opening and trashed the shop. We were told to expect a long delay. Turns out, the team worked their butts off and got everything cleaned up in just a week.

We just got word that the store is taking a second shot at opening tomorrow. Starting at 6 a.m., stop into the new Streeterville location and grab a cup of Metropolis coffee, a slice of something from Hoosier Mama or Southport Grocery and congratulate them on their miraculous, phoenix-like rise from the ashes. Here's hoping that they are keeping watch on things very, very carefully tonight.
