Today's Weather: Rock Bottom

Here's the deal. We don't need to be telling you how cold it is outside any more than we need to see screen grabs from your smartphones showing the current weather. What is understood doesn't need to be discussed. The weather forecast for the rest of the day, however, does. If you're the glass half full type, we will crack a high in the double digits today. Skilling Central says this is the coldest weather forecast in Chicago since Jan. 21, 2011. Pessimists will note that high will only be 10 degrees. The winds blowing from the northwest will put some color on your cheeks, so make sure you're protected when you head out. The winds will lessen a bit in the afternoon and evening.
