Damn if we didn't pick a good night to bring some of our favorite chefs together to serve some soup. It looks as though our long drought of days without a snowfall that could cover our toes may be over, if Skilling Central's forecast is correct. We could be looking at steady snowfall overnight, with parts of the area receiving lake effect snow and a quick 1-2 inch burst during the day. It's as though Thursday's brief snowfall was like priming the pump. One can hope. Dibs-free as this winter has been, we could actually use some snow.

As for the rest of the forecast, expect a mix of clouds and sun with a high in the low 20s. And we'll hopefully see you at Benton House tonight.
